Hi, I’m Abhishek, a Master’s student in Computer Science at the University of Utah. I bring two years of industry experience at Ciklum, where I worked on client-facing systems, including First American’s DataTrace Digital Gateway and Analysis Pro's APCapture projects. I also have research experience working on the CHASM framework at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune.

My interests lie at the intersection of systems and computer graphics, with a focus on parallel computing, computer architecture, rendering, visualization, and ray tracing. Outside of coursework, I actively spend my free time developing and improving a physically based path tracer, using it to deepen my understanding of shading , materials, and sampling strategies, and performance trade-offs.

I enjoy building things from the ground up and exploring how low-level systems design and graphics techniques come together to produce efficient and realistic visual results.

During my free time, I enjoy creating cinematic films and videos, which I share on Instagram and YouTube. I also like to play video games and attend live music gigs. I have always wanted to create something like this to archive all the things I am particularly interested in and share my own experiences.

The Beautiful Game

I am an ardent Real Madrid supporter who has been watching football since 2010. Football is obviously what I spend most of my time reading about or watching. La Decima ("The Tenth One") was the most defining moment in football for me. I also watch a lot of Premier League football and have been a fan of Manchester United since the Rooney Times in 2011.
